about
This month's single was co-written with one of my favorite singer-songwriters, Jesse Terry. Based in Connecticut by way of Nashville, Jesse carries forward the great tradition of 70s influenced artists in the vein of Jackson Browne, James Taylor, et al, to create beautiful folk-tinged gems of uncommon depth, sincerity and positivity. It's an honor and a joy to make music with Jesse and I hope you enjoy this short, sweet ode to faithful love.
lyrics
Golden days may fade to blue
Tin-hearted soldiers might not come through
but one heart it will always stay true
I'm always here for you.
Heathered skies over winter fires
Icicles dangle from telephone wires
Summer comes, but you know that she's a liar
I'm always here for you
I'm always here for you.
You may take a fall from grace
Merciless wind might batter your faith
but nothing in this world will change
the love I feel for you.
I'll be the first to let you go
to find the world all on your own
but when you're tired you can come back home
I'm always here for you
I'm always here for you.
